Behance is only for natural traffic. Why?
Behance is one of the top three platforms for designer growth and retention, which is an attractive attribute and can encourage designers to join it. However, using artificial promotion tactics to boost your account is a poor strategy, and here is why:
To completely fathom Behance’s algorithms and principles of work, we came up with detailed guides that explain how the nature of Behance relates to the possibility of growth. But to give you more value and not make you read this much information right now, we will provide an excerpt. This doesn’t cover the entirety of the worth we put into the guides, so we highly recommend taking a peek at those as well!
Behance operates solely on natural traffic. It is a platform that encourages hard work, so the algorithms behind the platform work in favor of successful designs. It is a very beneficial system of reward; however, if you manage to attract outside traffic, you may get in big trouble.
Behance works as a community. Dribbble, on the other hand, is a polar opposite — natural traffic is extremely hard to raise, so using design communities to attract attention to your Dribbble account is an amazing solution. That is why we at Voogla and in our own community encourage following the guidelines of those platforms, and empower those who strive to learn more about how to operate on different platforms. link to community
Unlike Dribbble, Behance does not welcome third-party sharing and traffic, and will look closely at cases that show certain statistics about the source of engagement. It goes as far as banning established accounts at the least bit of doubt, so you as a creator must be highly aware of how you promote your work from Behance.

The ultimate solution to Behance is the simplest — following what the platform suggests you to do. We outline the whole idea of Behance’s guidelines in The Pathway to Success, where we explain what you as a creator have to do to achieve retention on Behance.
To foster communication and cooperation, we encourage you join our design community – a space for designers to exchange their knowledge, gain experience and gather inspiration. Follow the link below to sign up:
